I haven't been around much because of the dreaded morning sickness. I haven't even been knitting as much as normal. Luckily my doc to pity on me and put me on some meds. Not 100% but much much better.
Here is what I made last week. The dye job is by me. Still not sure how I feel about it. It looked much better in my head than on the yarn. I might try it again, but using less dye.
I've been wanting to try this style out for a while and I love it! I'm going to try another pair in a solid color as well. This hem is the fringie hem out of my Adorabubble Baby Britches pattern. I made the waistband wide enough to fold over.
And here is my craziness of the month. I got this hair-brained idea to spin bamboo batting (you know the kind you can get at Hancock Fabric's that for stuffing). It turned out awesome! Not smooth and silky like a nice bamboo top, but cool in it's own way. Slubby/bumpy, almost cotton like soft and crazy. I love it.
After:
All knit up into a scarf.
I LOVE those longies, I thought of trying it knit the opposite but thought it would be to rough, those look great

That yarn is nice! What a great idea! I assume you dyed it?

Yup, I dyed it. It's growing on me more and more. I did dye another skein that turned out more how I was thinking. I'll post that later.
