I brought the camera but was so caught up in the excitement that I completely forgot to take any pictures. Grrr! We're planning on making a return trip so I'll have to get pictures then.
School yesterday looked like this.
Notice that he looks like he's working but his paper is totally blank. Yup.
You can't get much done like this either.
At least A#3 was cooperative.
The promise of a field trip shaped them up and we did get all our work done before it was time to leave.
Dinner last night was yummy! Balsamic chicken with a ton of sauteed veggies (onions, asparagus, yellow bell peppers and zucchini. I think Grandma Mary likes having us here. Dinner ready when she's home, a very enthusiastic greeting when she opens the door. The house isn't as organized as she would like (she doesn't say anything, but I know), but she says it's worth it :-) It is very nice having another adult around to help. I feel bad that she spends her evening cleaning up after us, but we work together as A#4 allows. So nice. I feel my sanity returning.
And a baby shot! This A#4's favorite spot, attached to me. At least the sling gives my sore shoulder some respite.
Brothers :-)
